Governance of the Society

The American Heraldry Society is governed by a seven-member Board of Governors who are elected by Society members. The President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary serve one-year terms; three Governors-at-Large are elected to staggered two-year terms. Appointed administrative directors and appointed committees make recommendations, conduct research, and manage some operations of the Society.
