3.10 Director of Publications
3.10.1 Ex-Officio Service
184.108.40.206 The Society Secretary serves ex-officio as Director of Publications.
3.10.2 Duties. The Director is the primary officer responsible for matters relating to the Society’s print and electronic publications. Specifically, the Director:
220.127.116.11 Supervises and manages the Society’s publications (including the Society journal, newsletter, brochures, website content, and other materials);
18.104.22.168 Sets editorial policies and identifies ideas for new Society publications in consultation with the Publications Committee and the Board;
22.214.171.124 Defines and oversees the Society’s graphic identity for consistency across all Society publications, printed matter, advertising and the Society website;
126.96.36.199 Coordinates activities of the Publications Committee;
188.8.131.52 Coordinates outside vendor printing services for all publications;
184.108.40.206 Recommends for Board approval permissions and copyright polices for Society publications in consultation with the Publications Committee and provides copyright permissions in accordance with those policies;
220.127.116.11 Maintains a publications archive; and
18.104.22.168 Renders an annual financial report and budget to the Board through the Treasurer and Finance Committee.
