I thought this was fascinating. Apparently this achievement was granted to the BBC in March 1927.
Escutcheon: Azure a Terrestrial Globe proper encircled by an Annulet Or, and seven Estoiles in Orle Argent.
Crest: On a Wreath of the Colours, a Lion passant Or, grasping in the dexter fore-paw a Thunderbolt proper.
Supporters: On either side an Eagle, wings addorsed proper collared Azure pendant therefrom a Bugle horn stringed Or.

The achievement has its own very complete and cited Wikipedia article, which is connected to a similarly well-done article on the logo practices of the BBC (such absurdly detailed knowledge of the obscure is one of those things that makes Wikipedia so interesting), and also informs us that they were granted a badge: "A Thunderbolt proper thereon a Pellet inscribed with the letters BBC Or."
The article also mentions that the coat of arms either is or used to be used on stationery, architecture, furniture, and on a flag. (It would be interesting to see that, as well.)
The old and current (boring) BBC flags are on Flags of the World at http://www.fotw.us/flags/gb$bbc.html

And flying over Broadcasting House, the BBC headquarters in London:

That’s a great Art Deco building .... haven’t I seen it on episodes of Poiroit? If not, it should be used.

yes it was used in Poirot, in one of the episodes Poirot does a radio program.
A few years back BBC news used the arms in the background. The set with the arms was made to look like an engraved glass wall.
