I ran across an old book with an interesting essay re: the canting arms in the Zurich Roll. It was published in 1913.  Would something that old still be covered by copyright?

If not, I think it would be worth scanning & posting on our website as a resource or inspiration for those designing new arms who would like to follow a generally Germanic or Swiss style.

As far as I know - anything published prior to 1923 is in the Public Domain.

In the United States; not necessarily elsewhere, which is why a lot of stuff on Google Books can’t be accessed in other countries.  (Such as Armenia, as I discovered to my frustration a couple of weeks ago.)
