Arms of the new (and first female) Archbishop of Uppsala Antje Jackelén. She was installed in Uppsala Cathedral on 15 June 2014.

Artist Ronny Andersen. The Arms are quartered in Swedish tradition showing in I and IV the Arms of the Archdiocese of Uppsala and in II and III the personal Arms. The Oakleaves alludes to the Oak in the Arms of Herdecke in Westphalia (Germany) where the Archbishop grew up. They also symbolises the Natural Sciences as the Archbishop’s academical work related to the dialogue between Faith and Science. The Crosses symbolises the Pilgrim and also Faith, Theology and Worship. The Motto translates as "God is greater".

Before Jackelén become Archbishop, she was Bishop of Lund. As such her Arms was this:

In I and IV the Arms of the Diocese of Lund. Showing the Grill attribute of the diocesean Patron Saint Lawrence. Prior to the Refomation Lund was and Archdiocese. Thus the Bishop is allowed the Cross and Crozier of the Archbishop.

Really nice designs; I expecialy like her retaining essentially the same personal arms, with only the artistic interpretation differing a bit (God is great, but artistic license is also pretty nice!)

As the agent who ordered the emblazon from Ronny, I can tell you that the personal arms are exactly the same, with the same blazon.

The original design was made by Jan Raneke.
