Maria Dering, a heraldry enthusiast and historian from NY used to manage a Facebook Group dedicated to New York heraldry. Last year it was closed as Maria began dedicating her time and effort towards other endeavors.

I just received an email from her informing me she’s resumed her Facebook activities in the form of a Facebook Page (in lieu of a "Group") It can be found at this address:

I recommend checking it out. She provides notices on upcoming heraldry related events in NYC - usually by the US based College of Arms Foundation and the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.
