The first few badges in post 77 are pretty good. The previous one, no. 72 is a mixed bag of goods, in my opinion.

I feel the same way…the ones from post 77 are much nicer.

I’ve always enjoyed German civil heraldry; never had a chance to see military heraldry.  I like it!

Well Brad there centainly are some good heraldry among the Military Heraldry of the German Army. Unfortunately there are examples of the oppsite also: the Academy of Information and Communication is one such lost oportunity.

Surely they could have come up with something better than just to put the abbreviation of the Academy and a blue bend sinister on a shield.

 

Better heraldry is shown in the Arms of the Front Intelligence Platoon 5.
