Could the mods look into changing the color of links in posts… currently they are the same color as normal text and make it difficult to add in-text links that are recognizable.
I’ll second the request. Some color or text-decoration is needed.
I tried inserting vBB into a link and it still came out like this:
http://www.heraldrysociety.us/memberarms.php
So then I took out the color references and kept the bold:
http://www.heraldrysociety.us/memberarms.php
So I tried color again (color tag at the beginning and end) and it came out black bold:
http://www.heraldrysociety.us/memberarms.php
Then I tried to add a colored hot-link "here"
Quote:
Member’s Arms can be seen here
Aha! That works. So, I suppose you can hot-tag a link with this algorithm {change parens ( ) to square brackets [ ] } making the BLUE word the obvious link:

Good luck (until our web designers can make a fix—but I’m sure we can wait, as they are probably exhausted by this time).
Cheers!
Just an opinion, since you changed the link color to blue, I think the blue links should be in bold, as blue is more difficult to see than black. Again, just an opinion, as this what I have seen in forums of the same format that use blue for their title links (and links to the different threads).
Oh, I see the blue division titles of the different forums on the main forum page are in bold, as well as the thread titles. Did I just not notice this before? It’s been a long day with no end in sight.
