Just an FYI, Ben Silver has a very good selection of heraldic and regimental neckties. They are a bit pricey, but are well made.
Another place to buy an heraldic necktie is Design Toscano. The one the currently carry (they used to have a second, with shields on a dark blue silk, but I don’t find it on their website now) can be found at:

Wasn’t Toscano wholesale only, refering potential customers to retailers? Glad to see they have internet presence now.

Ben Silver accepts commissions for organizational neckties—I belong to three organizations with "official" neckties that come from there, and I believe they give a discount for bulk orders.
I think a tie with the AHS arms would be quite striking.
Cheers,
Todd
I think that is a great idea

They may have been originally, but they have been retail, at least on the internet, for at least several years now.

It would be nice to have one of those $6000 sewing machines that will link to the computer and sew a pattern such as a coat of arms, such as

I saw a more expensive one demonstrated the other day. My goodness, it was cool! Sewing for geeks!
I think I like the idea of having one of those machines. Perhaps we could take collections from the society members, and have one person volunteer to run it. we could send the ties/shirts/etc. to that member, have our arms or the society arms embroidered, and have it shipped back. any one agree?
I just saw this tie on a program regarding the British Empire last night on the History Channel.
