Hey everybody
I found some pages I had photocopied from a book called "Heraldry and the Heralds" which had devoted an entire section to the Heraldry of Henri Christophe’s Kingdom.
So here are the scans of the pages, with more to follow (as I also scanned pages from the "Oxford Guide to Heraldry". (I will also follow up with a post on Napoleonic heraldry, as I have large amounts of references (including contemporary documents (copies/facsmilies not the original, i wish;) including a picture of the uniform of the Herald of Arms of the Imperial Court.(you may find his "baroque"-ish tabard a very interesting combination of medieval style and French 19th century taste!)
So here are the scans of the pages, with more to follow in the reply.

(page 3) royal arms colored in pencil by yours truly (in the photocopy, not in the book, heaven forbid </a>
(The page from the Oxford Guide to heraldry, more or less summarizes the first few pages I scanned, with an image of the royal arms from the Armorial itself, which i think I have linked previously)
I have a copy of the same book—& also found the Haitian heraldry most interesting!
(but has the copyright expired?)
I dunno..
Wait, would I need that to just post pictures of the pages? I said what book they are from, does that count? I’m not that knowledgeable when it comes to copyright. (The only thing I know is, "Don’t put your name on someone else’s work!):)
