For those who asked I am posting the alliance arms I commission for the 50th aniversary of my parent’s wedding. It was rendered by the French artist Laurent Granier

This were depicted in the "German" style since that’s the way I’ve always seen them. Italians, specially northern italians have a similar practice so I feel good with them. I don’t feel to be breaking any rule or tradition.

My mother CoA will be really hard to depict in an oval or lozenge. Probably that could be the reason I’ve never seen those arms in an oval or lozenge shape but always in a ‘Spanish" shield

Hi Aurelio,

It would be interesting to know the story behind both of your mother and fathers arms and as Andrew says, a beautiful piece of artwork.

I agree Andrew and John. Aurelio I love the artwork (L.G. is one of my favorites and one fo the artist I find to be "masters" of the art and craft IMHO) and I really love that you’d do this for your parents! Kudos my good man.
