Aurelio, either of the first two would do nicely (although I find the first to be a little too static, but that’s a personal preference).
The last is a nice design, but other heraldists (especially those of the English persuasion) will think them to be arms of alliance and they’ll assume that the inescutcheon represent the arms of a wife who is an heraldic heiress.
I like the third one, with the sable escutcheon and the semy of crosses… but that’s just my $.02
If you are looking random preferences, I much prefer the 2nd, I feel the larger horse in gules makes it much more visible and alive
I like the first!!! But you know that already. :D

How about reversing the colors of the flaunches on the first one? Would be more visually distinctive & recognizable from a distance…
What about sticking with your original design and just replacing the unicorn with a horse sable? Then fimbriate the flaunches sable.
Take care,

I can take or leave the horse (or unicorn), but I completely agree with Phil on fimbriating the flaunches. I think that would look very nice indeed.
Overall, I think three crosses would do nicely as well.
Ok. I am posting the suggestion so far.
This is Mike and Colin Suggestion if i am getting it right…

This is a PM suggestion

And this is Philip suggestion

Well I am trying to leave three alternatives so he can choose what’s more atractive for him.
So far I like:
1.- Or, a cross fitchy sabre, flaunche of the second each charged with a cross fitchy of the first.
2.- Per Pale. a) Or semilly of crosses fitchy sabre b) Argent, semilly of crosses fitchy sabre. Overall inescutcheon of the second a horse rampant of the third ungulee and lenguee gules. * It has the problem of "is this an inescutchoen of pertenence?"
I don’t know if my lack of artistic ability is driving me away of the horse over the shield parted per pal semilly, etc…
I kinda like the second one in this page: Or semilly corsses fitchy sabre, argent flaunches fimbrilated of the second, Horses rampant of the same ungulee lenguee gules.
I really like the second one (PM suggestion) I think it looks really good

After seeing it, I have to agree. Simple and elegant.

Being the following the three finalist

What crest would suit it better
http://www.aurelio.valarezo.net/hullcrest3.JPG
1. Cougart’s head proper Jessant de Lis (sorry the galicism) per fess Gules and Or
http://www.aurelio.valarezo.net/hull crest.GIF
Wolf rampant proper, holding a spear
http://www.aurelio.valarezo.net/hullcrest4.JPG
Horse rampant Or holding a Cross fitchy sable (is this still a cross fitchy?)
Thanks in advance for your comments.
P.S. Even I tried to reduce the size of the files they still came up like this. Sorry
what about a wolf holding the cross rather than the spear…
and the poor horse seems to have broken his pastern
I think it depends on which Arms you choose. If you choose the one with three crosses and no horses, I think the crest with a horse would be good, but if you choose one with a horse another horse may be superflous.
BTW I might recommend you go to your stepdaughter’s fianceé with these three versions and let him decide. He may not even like the designs at all, and you may have to start over. Or he may prefer one hands-down over the other two and your choice could be easily made. All three designs are nice designs and he would have exceptional arms, whichever one he chose.
