Trent, I still like the old original one best. The one that you worried had a ‘too Jamaican’ look. I thought that design was brilliant and all the ones since then have lacked a bit. But that’s my opinion and precisely why it’s dangerous to put a committee in charge of deciding your taste. So, my vote? the Jamaican arms!! :D
I am curious to see the arms that Patrick liked. Could you repost them?

I think you confused those with Iboa’s—he had the black, green, white, and yellow Jamaican theme.
I still like my first idea too, but the color scheme started to appear aggressive over time, but I plan on using it as a corporate logo.
Oh ... too many frets,

Have you thought about the first one with the fret throughout counterchanged instead of sable?
I finally figured it out! I like the fleurs -de- lys in chief best of the ones available, but I love Michael’s idea of the fret throughout counterchanged on the original.

I had not thought of that one. I’m not a fan of counterchanged things in general. And one of the reasons I moved away from my first avatar was because I grew not to like the fret throughout.

What an excellent design for Trent’s arms. There is something to be said for the innovative simplicity of a Nordic influenced design.
I still like the original. And it was the one I was thinking of, even if I did get the Jamaica reference wrong. Mike’s new design comes a close second in my estimation.
I agree with Patrick. Your original design is my favorite, also. The colors and overall design balance nicely and they just look "right" on the East African shield as well. Mike’s newest design with the fret overall comes in a close second.
Of the designs you posted, I like the second (fleur-de-lis in chief) best. The fret doesn’t look so lonely on that one and I just like f-d-l’s. :D
