Joe—section 2.2.3.1 (if I copied the numbers right) talks about display of various types of gongs awarded by the US or State governments, IIRC.  Would it be possible to add a parenthetical to each of the three bullet points noting one or two examples of American awards in each category?  I can’t for the life of me think of an American "sash" award…

Mike: I didn’t know either until you prompted me to Google "US Sash Award"

A special grade of the medal, known as the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction, has the above mentioned medal worn as a star on the left chest; in addition, the above-mentioned ribbon is worn as a sash on the right shoulder, with its rosette (blue with white edge, bearing the central disc of the medal at its center) resting on the left hip.

Also the Legion of Merit in the degree of Chief Commander, although never awarded to US citizens.
