Could you please check and tell me what date I officially joined on? I am fairly sure it was after August 1 but I can’t remember which August 1. I don’t mind paying again but I’d like to be sure.
I think my dues were needing paid which I have now done. Please note it will come in via my Business account Huntly Computer Services.
Paid. Thanks.
I’m now paid up as well.
Renewed today…
I have paid my dues. Thank you for the reminder! :D
I recently received a check in the mail from the Postal Service, after I had them try to trace the money order that I bought a while back and sent in to cover my membership dues. Apparently, either the money order got lost in the mail, or it never got cashed in.
So, after going to the beach this past week, I managed to get down to the Post Office again, today, and picked up another money order.
Who and where do I send this one to?
We are currently in transition to a new bank account. All membership dues should be paid through the paypal link available on the AHS website under membership.
Thank you.
David Shorey
Pay Pal site is temporarily down.
Sorry for the inconvience. We are working to get it back up and running soon.

When there is a physical mailing address available to send the money order to, someone can e-mail that address to me. I’ll check back in, from time to time.
If membership dues have to be paid only via PayPal, then I’ll opt out.
There will be. In the interim you are a member and technically dues arent due untill Feb. 1 2008.

Technically, the Society hasn’t received my dues for this years membership. The previous money order was apparently never cashed. The replacement money order is in my wallet. I just an address to mail it to, and to know who to make it payable to.
On a general note, the Society does not seem to be very organized. Perhaps this will improve going forward.

This is, indeed, something that we are working very hard on.
I wouldn’t say the society is disorganized at all. Currently, the corporation is in the process of moving from Colorodo to Texas, and it does take a little time for all the paperwork to clear.
In the last few months there have been incredible steps forward for us. The message board has been freed of spam messages, moved to a new domain, members armorial continually being updated, the addition of the Early American Roll of Arms and the inclusion of a chat feature that we never had before.
There’s also a way to pay thru PayPal direct from you checking account if I recall correctly, negating the need of an address to mail a payment in.
The paypal account is actually offline for a bit. I apologize for the inconvenience of this. Please bear with us in this transition.
