Good point Mike.  It’s great that this project falls in line with the AHS mission.  And it didn’t cost AHS a penny.  Can’t beat that.

Oh, yes, you can beat that Trent, and here’s how: there’s now a lodge full of Masons that never heard about AHS before who are very impressed. Some of them are now interested in becoming armigerous themselves and are computer savvy enough that they may show up here. I encourage all of you to take this example to any clubs, organizations, etc. that you belong to (yes, I know, some of you already have). Talk the AHS up big. Let’s get "good" heraldry in the hands of the people.

For those lodge members who are into tatooing, please suggest a henna version of the refrigerator test first!  How often have some of our younger readers adopted arms and later changed their minds?  It gives "blazon in haste, repent at leisure" a whole new meaning—how about "blazon in haste, skin graft at leisure"??  Makes me wince just thinking of it…

I’m not going to watch it, Guy, but I assume that this is the fabled ‘tattoo removal with a disc sander’ video.

Michael, many of them are already tattooed. Of course, so was I by the time I was their age. Keeping in mind that the ‘younger’ members of our Lodge are usually between 25 and 30. Kids! What can you do?

Linusetc.—Next time we get together for lunch at Mario’s, you can show us your heraldic tatoos!  (That is what you meant, right?)
