I’ve just finished putting up what I have on published records of the English visitations including links to those I have been able to find online. I will be adding paragraphs on how to obtain information on arms granted since the visitations as well as the use of Burke’s and similar sources for research. Comments and additions gratefully received.

The page is also linked from our home page; from the menu on the left side of the screen, click "Researching Ancestral Arms."
Thank you, Joe! This looks like it will be a great resource!
Take care,
Excellent work Joseph. This is a wonderful resource for our Society’s web site. One would have thought that the Heraldry Society (London) would have compiled this list of resources long ago for their own web site. May be they should link to our site for English heraldic research.
Credit where credit is due. THANKS!
If I am lucky, an online search for the Visitations of Cheshire might pull up a link to my own modest site at http://cheshire-heraldry.org.uk
Thank you Joseph! For those of us learning and beginning research this will be a very helpful resource.

I believe it is you who are modest. It is in fact a very nice site that no doubt took a considerable amount of work.

Now included in our page of links; thanks, Martin, both for pointing out the link, and for the work in putting this stuff up on your site.
Wow, it’s really nice to have all these links in one place. Thanks Joseph!
Noticed that the link for "The Visitation of the County of Gloucester" has changed.

Fixed; thanks!
