Hi all,

I have had this idea for a long time, but just now got it drawn out.  As you all know my current badge is the same as my crest.  I was looking for another badge that would incorporate something from my crest and something from my shield.  In my eye…this image can use a bit of refinement…but I will get to it in time smile

Due to the size of the rose, the sea-lion is disproportionately long.

you are correct Sir…that is one of the refinements smile  (I’m getting lazy in my old age).

I have an idea for how to shorten that tail and keep the proportions more or less the same. But I’m older and lazier, so it’ll be tomorrow before I can either sketch it out of chop yours up in PhotoShop. smile

okay…

Well here is the first idea that jumped to mind from Michael’s suggestion.  Thoughts?

I am also planning on doing one with the Sea Lion’s combatant with tails entwined and maybe one with the heads entwined looking reguardant with tails entwined.

I like the symmetry of this one and that there isn’t a top or bottom

I would be inclined to put them back to back, guarding each other’s back, so to speak.  Or face to face and slightly past each other, again, watching each other’s back, but in such a way they can watch each other, too.

I’m naturally suspicious.

That is obvious from the lamp that is always left burning in your arms. I wonder if well lit arms are less likely to fall victim to usurpation?
