My public library district has a new heraldry book though the book is not new (published in 1969) and the author signed it 1889. The book is, "A Dictionary of Heraldry," by Charles Norton Elvin.
I’m going to read it from cover to cover, but while I do I was hoping that anyone whose read it can post here and tell me what they think of it. It is new to me and I didn’t see it in the guide on books posted on the main page (I may have missed it). So, some thoughts from you fellas would be appreciated. Thanks.

or signed in 1989?
The dictionary was originally published in 1889 by Charles Elvin and reprinted by Heraldry Today in 1969.
