Following the Society’s elections and annual members meeting, the Society’s Board of Governors for 2009-2010 is:
Rev. William B. Henry, Jr., of Penna., President.
Mr. Philip D. Blanton, of Mo., Vice President.
Mr. Hugh L. Brady, of Tex., Secretary.
Mr. Kenneth F. Mansfield, of Ky., Treasurer.
Mr. Kimon A. Andreou, of Fla., Governor-at-large.
Mr. Jonathan R. Baker, of Va., Governor-at-large.
Rev. Guy W. Selvester, of N.J., Governor-at-large.
RECOUNT!!
Congrats to all.
I trust we’ll have no issues with hanging chads ... congrats all!
i think i know the answer to this, but not sure, so ... have you all thought of having a little marshaling/impaling/etc option for officers/board members to use when only in association with the AHS? for example, the president can marshal/impale his arms with those of the society for society business sort of thing.
on the one hand it’d be neat to see from where i sit, but on the other it might raise eyebrows (unwelcome) because i don’t know if there is a precedence for this.
or do i simply have too much time on my hands to be thinking of such things?
my congrats again to all.
This question actually comes up every time we have a new election. Each time the consensus is "no".
It would be great IMHO to keep an armorial of the AHS, with each board’s arms represented in one style on one page…
ok. thanks.

I actually enjoy seeing the different styles of emblazonment in the member roll. But there is something to be said for consistency, as long as the art is of a high standard.
Talking of arms, how does one get their arms into the Members Roll??

You send an email to it@americanheraldry.org with the request that includes the blazon of your arms and crest, any information about registration & grants and, of course, the images attached.
