I don’t have a big budget for expensive books, so have turned to the great evil itself. :aiee::google::aiee:
Hopefully these links will be of some use to people with limited resources like me.
I found a copy of Papworth’s from 1874
And Boutell/Fox-Davies from 1914.
And Boutell’s Heraldy: Ancient and Modern from 1892.
Heraldic Badges by Fox-Davies.
Woodward, 1896.
I’d appreciate the other member’s knowledge in reccomendations, corrections, or additions.
I’m not a fan of Google books as (outside the US anyway) their PDFs of books are not searchable, unlike many books on the Internet Archive.
I compiled a list of downloadable heraldry books (now a little out of date as I’ve found more). It can be found here

you can use "Hotspot shield" it routes your connection via an American server so you get an American IP adress and some books on Google that arenĀ“t available in Europe can then be seen/dowloaded.
There are links to "Some Good On-Line Heraldry Books" (you have to scroll down a little ways to get to this section in the left-hand column) on the blog "Heraldry: Musings on an esoteric topic" at: http://blog.appletonstudios.com
