From the site http://www.cutteragent.com the rather unheraldic "Arms" of the NOAA Ship Pisces. The NOAA = National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration lies under the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Some heraldic improvements comes into mind. Why not place the two Swordfishes on either side of the Trident or perhaps loose the Trident and place one of the Fishinghooks between the Swordfishes. The Crest could perhaps be replaced by the Trident issuant between the two Flowers which are now place on side of the Shield.

So a new blason could perhaps read Azure between two Swordfishes Argent a Fishinghook Or. And for a Crest a Trindent issuant Or between Two Flowers (As I’am no Botanist so I can’t make out what kind of Flowers that are shown) Proper.

The flowers appear to be magnolias, the state flower of Mississippi, where the Pisces is based (at Pascagoula).

The slight problem with the crest Marcus suggests (very nice in itself) is that it would be very close to the crest for units of the Mississippi National Guard, seen here atop the arms of the 155th Infantry (Mississippi Rifles): http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/ImageProxy.ashx?n=1&t=original&id=6578

The field of the shield is drawn from the NOAA logo, the white profile of a flying seagull dividing a disk into light blue (atmospheric) and dark blue (oceanic) areas. Fairly clever and attractive, but too complicted to be the field on which to place additional charges.

Yes the Crest suggested by myself seems a bit to close to the Mississippi ARNG Cest. so perhaps leave the trident in the Shield between the two Swordfishes and have as a Crest a Magnolia in front of two Fishinghooks in saltire.
