Thought I’d start to show some of the arm that some unrecognized countires have adopted.

Several of these are located in the caucasus region.  Kind of how I stumbled upon them.

The Arms of Abkhasia, de jure a part of Georgia but de facto independent.  Russia is in the process of finding a sly way to annex this territory.

The arms are nice, I think.  Simple and with a nice regional touch.

Nagorno-Karabakh, de facto independence but unrecognized.  Actually, their arms seem eerily similar to the US seal, don’t you think?

South Ossetia, another breakaway part of Georgia.  Propped up by Russia, again.  No wonder Georgia wants to join NATO.

Not sure if you’d term this a ‘seal’ or ‘arms’ properly, but who am I to question?

Somaliland, a breakaway part of Somalia (one of several).  If you lived there, would you want to be part of Somalia?

Hutt River Province, a tongue-in-cheek country.  Second largest counry on the Australian continent. grin

I especially like the arms of Abkhasia, but mostly for the artistic interpretation.
