A recent German newcast attempted to illustrate a story about the death of Osama bin Laden with the emblem of SEAL Team Six. Unfortunately for the news crew, they used the emblem of a fictional Maquis "SEAL Team" created by a Star Trek fan group.

According to the trekmovie.com site, here is the actual emblem for SEAL Team Six

HAHAHAHA - classic!
In defense of the Germans, the skull on the fangroup logo does have a bloody hole where one eye should be. Unfortunately it’s the right eye, not the left eye.

I’m afraid you are mistaken good sir. That is actually "a roundel Gules," otherwise known as a torteau. :alien:
Good, the more misinformation the world views, the safer the team… The forces who removed Bin Laden should have never been identified - It made them and all around them targets.
Now Trek fans wearing fictional badges will be targets - when will the news and the politicians and such learn to just shut up?
Yep, sore point here - sorry for the mini-rant.
It’s ok Kathy, I understand. Funny how the media botches things so often.

What else is new?
