Definitely the red tree with golden fruit.

Can’t say I’m thrilled with the motto, though. Sort of resonates with Kathy’s "what-EV-er." Might as well use "so it goes" or "la-di-da."

Still working on the motto. We’re actually trying to find a more succinct way of saying "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best."

It’s a distinctly ‘Jablonka’ attitude, some would say very Viennese, which can be misinterpreted by some as melancholy or negativity. But truly a family credo.

Gold apples, huh? Mom likes it too. Personally it’s too many metals, but I’m overruled.

Any advice about the blazon?

I think this is best. This groups the mullet with the apples, which is important for the meaning, and balances it all a bit more.

Anyone else have an idea of how to blazon those mountains?

Beautiful!  I love the small changes.  I prefer the second one a little more because the tree fills up the field.

Can’t help with the blazon, sorry.

Menkerios,

May I offer the following for the blazon of your arms:

‘Argent an apple tree eradicated gules fructed of three apples one and two or a chief dancetty (the middle dance enhanced) gules charged in the dexter chief with a mullet of six points or’

The chief dancetty can be seen a representation of mountains in the present context.

With every good wish

John

Really love the latest changes.  Much clearer, and the red sets off the gold nicely.

Thanks Kevin (and others who suggested it). I admit the gold was driving me nuts. Oddly the solution was to add more.

Thank you John, that seems quite clear. I had forgotten to specify the arrangement of apples, as well.

Does this work as a refinement, do you think?

On a chief dancetty of three (the middle dance enhanced chiefwise) gules, in dexter a mullet of six points or’

Enhanced is toward the top. Debased is toward the bottom. The default for a [blank] dancetty is three up and two down.

As Kenneth has specified dancetty is always of three (the top points of dancetty, plus enhanced is always to the top so there is need for further qualification.  There is no need to say ‘on’ a chief dancetty…., plus I would still specify the mullet being ....‘in dexter chief…...’.

All the best

Tweaking John’s blazon a bit—

‘Argent an apple tree eradicated gules fructed of three apples one and two or a chief dancetty (the middle dance enhanced) gules and in dexter chief a mullet of six points or’

Thinking of simplifying, and just going with a single mountain, using a reverse pile. Thoughts?

Proposed Changes

I’m late to the party on this one but I would vote for the dancetty chief you have been using.  I like the representation of "mountains" over a single mountain.  Additionally, it better represents the sky which is where the mullet belongs.

I like this simpler version.
