It’s a sad news to share , but I’m not sure if all active members of this community are aware that Dr.Hans Roth passed away few months ago.

His wife Kathleen informed about it on her Facebook page only few weeks ago.

Saddened by such unexpected loss ...R.I.P Hans

I’m very sorry to hear that.  Dr. Roth was a valued member of the heraldic community.  Thanks very much for letting us know.

How unfortunate. I spoke to him only briefly a few times; he was a kind man.

My condolences.  Is there a way to make note of members who have passed away? In the armorial, perhaps?

A hatchment would be the logical way.

Sad news indeed and yes a hatchment seems to be the way to remember him and other who has passed away.

Very sad news indeed.  A memorial of some kind would be a nice addition to the website.

he was always very kind to me on here, at HSS and on FB. very nice, personal man. truly devout man as well without beating other over the head with it. a good source of heraldic knowledge. i was saddened by this too.
