I would like to welcome my friend Kevin Arkinstall to the Forum. I have known him for many years and he is secretary of the Society of Heraldic Arts as well as being an outstanding calligrapher, heraldic artist and fellow ‘Old Reigatian’ who also trained under Anthony Wood.
Welcome Kevin, Glad you could make it.
Any mate of Andy’s is a mate of mine! Welcome to the forum.
Cool! Another world class heraldic artist in our forum! Welcome!

If he wants to send me one, I’ll be happy to compare them up close…
However the competition is pretty keen.
Hey Kevin,
Maybe we can compare winged sealions too, while you’re at it? I have long admired your work (thanks to the internet). It is an honour and a joy to have another fine artist amongst us in this forum. As I said, any friend of Andy’s and Ce’s is a friend of mine. Looking forward to seeing some more of your work… especially winged sealions. Cheers!
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I’m looking forward to reading/joining in the discussions.
We are looking forward to seeing your new art. Please post some of your work soon.
Kevin is another amazing artist who’s work I’ve admired for some time. It is nice to have so many amazing artists on one website. It definitely sets the bar high for those would be artists around here as well, which is definitely a good thing.
Nice to see another amazing artist visiting these forums. With all of these artists providing their expert advice added to the vast knowledge of all of the other members, AHS seems to be the place to go on the internet for any heraldic information or advice. I’m glad to be a part of this society.
