The CoA of the Lancaster Catholic High School designed by Pierre Chaignon La Rose. Argent and Azure is the colours of the house of Lancaster. The Roses are also a symbol of Lancaster. The Cresent is a symbol of the Immaculate Conception and the Diocese of Harrisburg. The Cross denotes the school as a catholic institution. The Book is a learning symbol and the Motto from the Book of Proverbs translates as "A wise heart seeks knowledge".

It occurs to me that if Lancaster Catholic High School were ever to have supporters one or both could quite effectively be based on the Crusader as shown in the banner on the school’s home page. Just an idle thought…
