Any new developments re the situation in Spain?

The only thing "new" is the establishement of the Spanish College of Arms.  (private registry, much like the ACH).  I’ve heard from my contacts in England recently and there’s no new developments regarding appointing a replacement from Don Vincente.  It would appear that HM King Juan Carlos doesn’t intend to replace the Chronista, and as such ends the Chronsita’s Registrations.  However, the SCA does provide the ability to legally register new arms in Spain via the Notary.  See this link for a more detailed description:
