Thanks for all the suggestions, it seemed so simple, I appreciate all the input, I’ve rethought my original selections (I like my components, my presentation was weak) anything here leap out as "wrong" ?
The arrangement with the chevron forces the pegasus to be smaller than is ideal. If you used a per chevron division, that would give you a bit more space for your pegasus. Or if you put the roses on a chief and dropped the chevron entirely (as suggested by MMCDHoward).
The shade of brown you’re using for Or is far too dark- metals are meant to be bright.
But I do like your colour scheme, and you’ve chosen some very nice elements. It’s just a question of finding the right arrangement.

without the chevron and a much more decrorative pegaus, brownish gold brightened to bright yellow, all the suggestions have really helped me get closer, many thanks
Now to Blazon it ...
Blazon:
Vert, a Pegasus rampant Argent, crowned collared and chained Or,in chief four rose Argent barbed Vert and seeded Or
Blazon of Crest :
On a wreath of the colours an Irish Harp
Motto:
Veneratio supremus totus alius
Close?????
I think this is very very good. The only thing i don’t like is the sable chain

Close, yes. First, you left the description of the rose completely out of the blazon for the crest (and I might think about making that rose the same as the ones in chief on the shield). Second, on the shield, having a green field and green barbs on the rose…I’d go for four roses Argent barbed and seeded Or.
Lovely design!
Thank you very much, this has been extremely interesting and rewarding
With so much GREEN in your arms, I find the lambrequin colors to be a bit outre.
Your Irishness is readily apparent (green & the crest); therefore: have you considered the Irish custom of using Gules doubled Argent for the lambrequin?
If you will recall, Irish custom is/was to use Gules doubled Argent regardless of the predominant colors and/or livery colors. The splash of opposite color (red v. green) might, I think, "balance" out your Achievements.

Guy,
Thank you and no I hadn’t. I had assumed it to be traditional based on those that I had seen, the difference in mantling is quite striking
Thanks,
Rand
Guy—
Wow! those are some fairly stunning achievements, Thanks for sharing
I agree with Guy… of course I’m biased… I use the traditional Irish method as well.
Rand,
I really like your latest rendition with the winged horse (Pegasus is a proper noun ) crowned, gored, and chained Or. Might I suggest the rose in the crest be barbed Or also? Other than that, I think the overall design is very appealing!
Take care,
