The award took me a little time creating the different shapes n’all 8)
Very nice, but forgive me for asking what is the award?
The award is for honorable service and/or for an act/deed that promotes public safety (State government):siren:

Congradulations! How did you earn it? (You know you want to tell us!)

It wasn’t that big of a deal really (right place at right time sort of thing). I thwarted and apprehended an escaping felon, I also received some commendations but they don’t have a medal for that yet (one of my departmental projects), but when they do, I’ll be sure to add them as well.
Awesome!
Our very own hero on the site. Quite an honour.
Chapulin, people like you are the modern day chivalrous knights of ages long past.

Thanks, Kind words, but like I said, it wasn’t that big of a deal
Even displays the humility of a goodly knight! Thwarting an escaping felon is a big deal, especially to those of us in the general public whom you protected.
Three Cheers for Chapulin!

All in good spirit, Sir Chapulin!
"fellllooowww, which nobody can deny!"
In all seriousness, your Arms with the medal look stunning. Very well devised
Most appreciative guys, I was reluctant to add the award to my arms but I do think it looks nice
they are extremely nice!
And since it is an award you have earned, you have the right to display it in your armorial achievment.
Congratulations!
Humility in personal acheivment denies you the respect of the general public; that is the point of these awards, for the general public to be able to recognize the deed.
Military awards are similar, in that they inspire others while recognizing a deed. Take a Purple Heart, the wounded soldier knows he has been wounded, the award is to recognize this affect to the soldiers peers.

The lion on your shield—I’ve seen it on VectorImages.com, where I signed up to get charges that AG didn’t have. That boar’s head you were wondering about comes from that site as well.
I was going to get that lion too, but then I noticed that it has only 3 claws on the right paws and 4 on the left. Do you or anyone know why that is? Is it special type of heraldic lion or leopard?
