Phil,
When I said "current colors" I was talking about my current avatar. I didn’t mention the symbolism of the new colors until I responded to your post. But I did mention why I’m considering abandoning the old colors.

That explains how I missed that. And here I thought I was going nuts. Thanks for the clarification.
Take care,
Mohammed,
Would you make me an East African Shield with a fret throughout? I’d like to color it and see how it looks on an East African Shield. I appreciate the one you made for me on page three of this post. I tried to make one in MS Paint myself but I can’t get the hang of the curve tool.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Can anyone out there make a blank East African shaped shield for me like the one I requested in my previous post on this thread?
Trent,
Do you mean like this?

Take care,
Phil,
Thanks.
Yes, that’s the shape! Can you put a fret in it? A fret like the one in my avatar?
I’d like to have a fret throughtout it, a fret that will allow me to color the mascule yellow and the bendlets white. I want to try the design of my avatar on an African shield. I just need a blank copy to work with. I want to color the final product myself. I would really appreciate it if you would do that for me. If I had the skills to do it myself, I would.
Trent,
Sure, no problem:

Take care,
Thanks! I’m going to get to work on it now.

Is this blazon correct?
Two peacock feathers in saltire, Tenne and Argent, surmounted by a third Brunatre.

I am not certain about the blazon, but as someone who had four peafowl roaming the lawn as a child, I can say that these are very poor illustrations of a peacock’s tail feathers. These colours remind me of the late 1970’s interior design scheme universally used on all ‘contemporary’ tract homes. Dull as mud but neutral enough to accept most pre-owned furnishings.
Hmm, and my blazoning sucks, but I would say, I think:
A fleur-de-lis, the outermost petals Azure, the central Argent, encircled by a snake Sable.
Once again, my blazoning is horrible..! :D
Cheers,
I’m having trouble finding the proper way to blazon the 8 ermine spots on this CoA.

Bendwise and bendwise sinister are not the right terms for the orientation of the 4 pairs. What are?
Any examples of other similar arms?
And is this an accidental duplication?
Does this blazon work?
Per Pale Gules and Sable, in dexter chief and base two ermine spots in bend, in sinister chief and base two ermine spots in bend sinister Argent.
I am not sure if "in bend" forces the charges to orient bendwise, as if they were on a bend. I don’t think so.
Perhaps the safety blazon might be:
Per pale Gules and Sable, eight ermine spots 4 and 4 in chevron inverted Argent.

Reading the above blazon, I get the mental picture of 4 ermine spots on either side, all forming one chevron, not two.
Perhaps: Per pale Gules and Sable, eight ermine spots 4 and 4 in double chevron inverted Argent?
Take care,
