It’s hard to believe that after nearly a thousand years of heraldry that simple designs like this one are still available for use.

Azure, a (Linden?) tree eradicated Argent.

 

If you find the original armiger, write the school a letter.

The leaves do look like Linden leaves. One should probably look to Sweden or Germany for the prior use of these arms, if any. These two countries seem to have a special love of this tree, at least in heraldry.

It’s a pitty that the image’s so small, since it doesen’t apear to ba a Linden tree to me…

I could be wrong ofcourse!

 

BTW, we have used the Linden tree and a Linden tree branch here: http://www.armorial-register.com/arms-serb/grujich-ll-arms.html
