Regarding Army Leading Command arms, how are these blazoned, especcially that border that looks a bit like twisted rope? Without it, it is just the German state arms, Or, an eagle displayed sable armed gules.

Cheers,

The twisted rope is called piping, and this particular piping is silver bullion. One will find much silver bullion piping still in use in the BRD Wehrmacht as silver/white along with black were the livery colours of the Royal House of Prussia.

Sorry, I had a feeling that there was some new name invented by the Adenauer government.

Not to be a nitpick but in this case it sertainly is gold not silver bullion round the edges.

Nice, but some of them seem to delve into the "world of logos" rather then heraldry.

Cheers,

This looks more like a coat of arms:

Flugabwehrraketengruppen (Aircraft Antimissile Group)

(well, except for the unit designation in dexter chief)
