I came upon an interesting heraldic webs site today called Escutcheons of Science - Armorial of Scientists which can be seen here:
http://home.att.net/~numericana/arms/index.htm
There is a most interesting quote at the upper right of the opening page that really caught my eye: (Heraldry is) the science of fools with long memories. Written by James Robinson Planché (1796-1880) Rouge Croix Pursuivant in 1854, and Somerset Herald in 1866.
That is very very cool. Thanks for that link David
What a great website! Thanks, David. :D
Take care,
Very nice.
Cheers,
