The Armorial Seal of the USAF Chaplain Service.
The crest is not really my cup of tea, but I really like the piles work in concert with the hands spread in supplication.
Thanks for sharing this.
The crest is that of the Air Force.
Then I suppose I shouldn’t share my opinion with my uncle, in that case. :D
It’s the cloud that I don’t like. I just have trouble picturing that crest actually on top of a helm. (Of course, that’s not likely to be an issue in this day, but I still don’t like it.)
As USAF units/organisations nowadays doesn’t use Crests, I find it a little bit strange that One is included at all. But perhaps one is allowed for USAF-wide organisations.
All USAF units use the Air Force crest, on unit colors, for instance.
I seriously doubt that any medieval crest-maker would have been daunted in the least by the challenge of producing a cloud behind an eagle with wings elevated.

Thanks, so individual crests are not used but the USAF crest is common for all USAF units?
