A booklet arrived in the post today published by the American Society of Heraldry in 1967. The booklet is titled Heraldic Monograph Series of the American Society of Heraldry, Being a Presentation of the Heraldic Art of Rev. Dom William Wilfred Bayne, OSB, ChLJ. Not surprising, most of the illustrations in the booklet are of coats-of-arms for the clergy, various Sees as well as ecclesiastical seals. One chapter of the booklet was written by Conrad Swan, at the time Rouge Dragon Pursuivant of Arms.
Has anyone seen any other publications by this society? The title of the booklet would imply that more editions of this series were intended?
I’m not 100% sure, but I think the American Heraldry Society may have been an offshoot or subsidiary group to the Augustan Society.
Google books has The Heraldic Art of the Rev. Dom William Wilfrid Bayne, O.S.B., Ch.L.J. By William Wilfrid Bayne

But the text is not available.
There seem to be a lot of references to ASH in Spanish publications on Google books, for some reason:

There are also interesting references to the older AHS(es):

But, alas, most of these don’t allow text access, so without visiting a library it’s hard to track them down.

I didn’t realize there was an older AHS. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised though.

David is talking about the ASH, but there was another AHS upon a time. We had a discussion at some point about the troubles they got into with hotel rooms and young women, if I recall correctly.
