I have a drawing at home that I made decades ago in which the field is per pale Or and Vert and the charges are counterchanged.  I assume I must have had some basis for using those colors, but if so I don’t remember what it would have been.  The hatching on this image suggests I was at least correct about the sinister half of the field.
