If I quick reply to a comment, does my "reply" get threaded as a reply to that comment specifically, or does it still simply appear at the end of the discussion. If it does the former: that’s great! It could really clear up some of the discussions we have.

Also, I really am happy to see what was done here. I think that’s a great step! But I miss the old shield icons: they were so great! Any chance to get the heraldic icons back?

Spot on, gentlemen!

I clicked the Quick Reply button on the first post, typed this and hit Post Quick Reply.

And the icons are fixed, I might work on some of the other graphics as I have time.

And this is a Post Reply to the end of the thread. You probably don’t see any difference. But in the upper right-hand corner (below Log Out), there’s a pull down menu called "Display Mode." If you choose hybrid or threaded, you will easilly see the "threaded" nature of the Quick Replies.

I guess I would encourage everyone to use Quick Replies, especially whenever the conversation does involve more than one "conversation." However, unless one of the other two modes becomes "default," I doubt people will change their habbits. (Why would you, when there’s no precieved advantage?)

Interesting new feature, though!

N.B. the Post Reply function assumes you are posting to the most recently active thread!

wait… no it doesn’t. I’m not exactly sure how Post Reply chooses to thread it’s message. Perhaps it depends on which view mode you’re in.
