That’s the best I can do at the moment, thoughts?

Alright this is what I have at the moment…probably not the best quality raven, but this was my attempt.

The troubled soul has found God.

I think it’s a fine job. You will want to erase part of the shield, though, so as to reveal the front of the helm. It should be resting on top of the shield as opposed to behind it.

Well I’m very glad you like it so much. :D

As for the shield, I did notice it, but I decided to not mess with making it perfect until my ducks were in line. thanks for pointing it out though, since it’s been like that for so long, I probably would’ve overlooked it :p

I just wanted to say I like the design a lot - as a relative newcomer that doesn’t hold a lot of weight.

More importantly, here’s a quick suggestion, if it is not too late: Instead of using a cross to suggest faith, have you suggested using the symbol of a favored patron saint? The classic example is the spiked wheel of St. Catherine, but there are others.

I *do* like the cross though.

I good suggestion if I was Catholic.  I’d consider myself a non-denominational Christian, so actually the whole "saint" thing, doesn’t sit well with me.  :p

Have you tried other traditional Christian symbols… maybe the Ichthys or a chi-rho?

I tried looking up as many of them as I could find…but none of them I really cared for…or that I thought worked with my design.

Was just bored so I decided to try something a little different…not sure I like it as well though.

Your new design is more visibly distinct from any distance or in small scale, than the original parted per pale & counterchanged.  It is perhaps less distinctively different than other arms that may share the same or similar general outline & colors.

I, personally, like your avatar.  However, the newest idea is a bit easier on the eyes.  :hypno:

Take care,
