As many of you are aware - those who drive in the U.S. anyway - for a number of years C.R. England has basically usurped the arms of England as its logo. Well, except that they really screwed it up. They had blue vertical lines on the field which they likely took from a hatched line drawing of the arms of England. And often the lions were not guardant, only passant. I saw a truck recently that had a blue field rather than the usually lined one, so today I looked up on their website. There are still a few images with the lines, but I was able to lift this one from their PDF newsletter.

Still all kinds of wrong, but different at least.
I think it is a major improvement. Blue instead of red, or blue tricking or whatever it was to be and a bordure even; why, there is now no confusion that these aren’t the arms of a Sovereign Queen.
Second Xander’s response—may or may not be globally unique (haven’t checked but seems doubtful) but at least not the arms of England-the-kingdom.
