Over at www.shirt.woot.com/derby/ , a weekly t-shirt design contest, someone has suggested the following in a cryptozoological theme.

(Barely heraldic, I realize, but the fora have been getting quiet)

I believe I have to be pleased that I have no idea what or whom you are talking about.

Oh, if you ever are Illinoisways, I will have to catch you up on American cartoons, then. grin

I have seasons one and two.  The Y2K episode is quite enjoyable, I must say.  However, I prefer watching Futurama.

Consequences?  No no no.  In this instant I would call it "advantages."  To those fortunate members of the board who don’t know, but are curious enough that they would like to understand, the horror that is Peter Griffin and his family, I will post this link.  But I beg you, do not come back to blame me.  You cannot UN-see this.

de gustibus & all that—I thought it was a hoot!

(but then I’ve never been what one might call a paragon of culture & good taste!)

No wonder my grandson watches that show when he thinks we’re not paying attention…

I came very close to submitting my own design for that particular derby:

The Great Roe is a mythological beast with the head of a lion and the body of a lion, though not the same lion

And that’s how Family Guy is.  A love-it-or-hate-it situation.
