Notice the rat is able to look quite mean without looking rabid.
I like the rabid quality, Kathy. :D
I’ve not abandoned this process, just sort of set it on the back burner. I do like the Rat in the arms that David posted. I like that it’s not a gross exaggeration and love how the artist wove the tail trough the mantling. I think I might try drawing something similar.
I’m exploring gyrony. It’s not as easy as it looks and it kinda makes my eyes hurt if I look at it too long.
It’s official - embattled fess wins. Crest is still percolating, just thought you all should know.
Hooray! Good choice! :D
Well, Jeff, I mean it’s not like you’re partial to embattled or compass roses.
I read it in GQ; maltese and templar crosses are out of vogue, the new cool is compass star. 8-)
I really really like this one. Simple, yet unique! Very nice.

Phew! That was too close for comfort.
Excellent choice! (Prayers answered.)
Very nice!
Jeff - nice comment. I’ve been meaning to ask you about Spokane. I’m a big Sherman Alexie fan so I always spot that place name (and the wife is from WA as well.)
Ft Byers - I’m especially glad you like it. I respect your opinion, and well there’s the whole Catholic thing too (it dies hard.)
Kenneth - I think this what was meant to be. It’s much better than what it is replacing.
Kevin - simple is in.
Jarred - DFW? Greatest metro-area in the world. I miss Dallas. Oh yeah, how ‘bout those little Mavericks?
go mavericks !!!
Good result!—and we’re still (barely) under 200 messages…
Can someone lock the thread before it’s too late?
