Been a member her for about 4 years now, but mostly absent for about the last 18 months, so I thought it’s be fair to say hi, again.
The last year.5 has been full of upheavals, both good and bad. I’ve had a a lot less free time on the computer, and the time I have had has been focused on writing and writing related projects.
Now, for a few reasons, I’m looking back to this board in my limited leisure time.
For one, I have a friend who convinced me to offer a heraldic design in a recent services auction. Then that friend when ahead and won the auction, so I’m for designing arms for her.
But more importantly, I’ve drifted back to an old hobby—printmaking. I’m currently building a small printing press so I can do work with metal plates and etching. And while I do that I’ve discovered that I quite enjoy working with linocuts and some limited woodcuts. Mediums which adapt quite well to heraldry.
So, hopefully I’ll be around a bit more than I have been.
Welcome back. We saved you a seat.
Good to see you back, Dale.

Nice to hear from you again. I hope this means you will be displaying heraldic works in your new (actually old) mediums.
Good to see you once again. Would love to see some of your work.
Welcome back Dale!
Good to see you back.
Great to have you back!
Thank you, all. I’ve started a new thread under Heraldic arts where I can start displaying some of the linocuts.
