Just went browsing for Coat of Arms on my most used Internet Bookshop and come across four rather interesting titles, at least for a Military Heraldry Buff like myself, that where published December 2011 and in January this Year:
Coats of Arms of U.S. Cavalry Regiments bu Adam Cornelius Bert, Chromo Publishing.
Coats of Arms of U.S. Infantry Regiments by Carleton Olegano M Ximo, Ject Press.
Coats of Arms of U.S. Artillery Regiments by Adam Cornelius Bert, Chromo Publishing.
Coats of Arms of U.S. Air Defence Artillery Regiments by Barnabas Christ Bal, Cede Publishing.
Are anyone here more familiar with them and can tip me off if they are a good buy?
Well anyhow I decided to make a go and ordered the Air Defence Artillery Book. If that one is good, I will go ahead and by the rest.

Sure I will do that. Hopefully the Book will arrive next Week or the Week after that.
The Book arrived today Quite nice but I lack the blazons for the main part of the Regiments, as there only are included a few Regiments with histories and blazon of the Coat of Arms. The other Arms are only shown in Black and White pictures.
I came upon this info today: Apparently the distinctive arms of the 1st Cavalry were designed by Col. Ben Holladay Dorcy and his wife Gladys:

Dorcy himself had a coat of arms, as shown on his bookplate:

A quibble: not "1st Cavalry" but "1st Cavalry Division." Without "division," 1st Cavalry refers to the regiment.
