So, I am playing with some heraldry uses in Cafe Press now that I have this great digital artwork by Ljubodrag.  Here are some things I did for myself and I’m doing for the Beckers…. playing around, but it’s a hoot!

You can upload your image and size it quite nicely..  You should give it a go!

Well,

The Beckers and McClurgs now have a pretty extensive storefront.  I’ve let them know I’ll put together any appropriate item.  Feel free to tool around in there - please remember I did buy the copy rights from Ljubodrag for the artwork he did for me… Generally, if you make yourself a storefront, you can buy what you build for "base price" which is already pricey..

What a great way to spend a rainy cold Sunday!

Identification is what heraldry is all about. Some interesting stuff there Kathy.

I am always so jealous of the detailed digital images everyone seems to have.

How can I get some made??

I notice that Mark and Kathy both use the same motto: "Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam" - ‘tis a small world…

There no magic to it, Mark.  I presume that Kathy contacted a heraldic artist and commissioned a work.  I think that Kathy used Ljubodrag Grujic (from Serbia):

Just a thought – but the 10×3 “car magnet” might make for an excellent format on which to display the image of a standard, guidon, or pennon.

There are quite a few digital artists that are quite good.  Ljubodrag is quite well known.  Terry Sarros has a web site and FB page.

https://www.facebook.com/THOVArt

http://thov.org/

Both of them do all their work by hand - no clip art.

I know there are others here and elsewhere - And if you have a good line drawing, This site may be able also to help:

There are others around - whatever boards you are on re: heraldry, ask folks to PM you and you’ll find an artist that suits!

Good luck!

I agree.  They have some stickers and one other size of car magnet as well.  You can also do a banner there, but it wouldn’t be a proper banner, methinks.

OK - Just one more… I think - I massacred Ljubodrag’s artwork, but found a really interesting way to get the family to learn a little Blazon-eese

I am pleased and will now quit bothering you folks with my cafe press adventure…

Lol, the blazoneese makes a great fashion statement!

I’m glad you shared the cafe press links Kathy. :D
