I have heard the term of "Collaring your shield to (insert item)" but I don’t have a clue what this means. Is this the term used for superimposing your shield / achievement of arms over the item mentioned, or does this mean something else entirely? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean when you wrap a decoration’s ribbon or collar around the perimeter of the shield.
