Ken—thanks, I’d forgotten that symbolism ... and seeing your latest & very nice artwork, I admit that with the oak tree instead of the bear, engrailing is also the better choice.

(With the bear, I still would prefer invected as originally drawn by HC on the first page, but that’s just me.)

Michael, the argent shield and the chief engrailed azure are from ancestral arms, and were chosen for that reason.

Kenneth, if you have the shield alone done this way, I’d like to change my avatar to your version. Thank you again.

David, the roots were an experiment. Let me redo it to fill the space better.

Dang, very nice Kenneth.  The new design is really starting to grow on me.

Redrew the roots and tweaked the bear’s head a little.
