Here is an interesting article about a reproduction of Lord Dunmore’s coach at Colonial Williamsburg.
That would be:
H. E. the Rt. Hon. John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore, His Majesty’s (Last) Lieutenant and Governor General of the Colony and Dominion of Virginia and Vice Admiral of the Same, 1771-75.
Arms: Quarterly, 1st and 4th grand quarters Azure three stars Argent within a double tressure flory-counterflory Or (for Murray); 2nd and 3rd grand quarters quarterly, i and iv Or a fess checky Argent and Azure (for Stewart), ii and iii Paly of six Or and Sable (for Strabolgi); over all on an inescutcheon Gules three dexter legs in armor conjoined at the hip in triangle Argent (for Man)
Crest: A demi-savage wreathed about the head and middle with oak leaves, holding in his dexter hand a sword erect proper, hilted and pommelled Or, and in his sinister a key Or.
Supporters: Dexter, a savage wreathed about the head and middle with oak leaves holding in his sinister hand the end of a chain Sable wherewith his feet are fettered (for Atholl); Sinister, a lion rampant Gules gorged with a collar Azure charged with three mullets Argent (for Tullebardin).
