I love it - especially the 3D effect!

There’s a whole world of things I don’t know, so I hope you don’t mind my asking, but what’s the purpose of impaling your arms with the Armorial Register’s?

I was trying to figure that out too. To my limited knowledge, impaling was for marriage primarily with your spouses arms. I like the emblazon though
It is an English custom for the heads of corporate bodies that have arms to impale the arms of the corporation with their personal arms, much as bishops impale their diocesan and personal arms. John is the president (or some such title) of the Armorial Register.
Danilo does some excellent work.
The difference with impaling your wife’s arms is that your own arms would go on the dexter. If impaled with an armigerous corporate body they would be on the sinister. This is applicable in Scotland, England and Ireland as far as other countries are concerned I am unaware of what practises would be adopted.
Makes sense! In that case, very cool :D
